Acted as planning consultant and agent for a proposed wooden boundary fence to one side of the Hanbury memorial gardens which contains a Grade II listed war memorial. I produced a Planning & Heritage Statement with the application to demonstrate how the proposals complied with relevant planning policy and guidance. I liaised with the client regarding the drawings and information on ownership. As the ownership was unknown, I organised for a notice to go into a local newspaper in advance of submitting the application. The application was submitted in November 2023 and planning permission was granted in January 2024.
