Peter Hamilton provided highly professional planning consultancy for a complex development at Mersey Bowmen Tennis Club, Liverpool. The application was for tennis court floodlights and accessible pathway on the Mersey Bowmen site, within the beautiful grade 1 heritage Sefton Park. Peter managed key partnerships across ecology and tree consultants. He balanced bat, tree and visual amenity risks against the health and social benefits of extended access to tennis for our local population. His approach led to a comprehensive and diligent application to the Liverpool City Council planning portal, which was successful first time due to Peter’s expertise and attention to detail. He was always responsive and reliable, providing balanced information about the barriers, risks and mitigation.
