Acted as planning consultant and agent for a successful appeal against a refusal of a prior approval application for an additional storey to a three storey block of flats in Allerton. Before and after submission of the application I liaised with the client, architect and daylight consultants on the proposal, requirements for the application and amendments to address issues being raised. I produced a Supporting Statement demonstrating how the proposal complied with the prior approval requirements. Following a refusal of prior approval, I produced an appeal statement relating to planning issues and submitted and managed the appeal. I liaised with the client and transport consultant on the highways grounds for appeal and responses to comments made by interested parties. The appeal was allowed.
