Manufacturing facility, Bootle (February 2026)

Prepared, submitted and managed a Lawful Development Certificate (LDC) application for the proposed use of part of a manufacturing facility for offices and a canteen, erection of an internal mezzanine floor and the use of an area of existing hardstanding for a car park, and a planning application for installation of entrance doors and glazing to existing bay doorway and installation of windows to the front and side elevations.

Our key roles included:

• working with the client’s architects on preparing the necessary drawings.

• producing statements supporting the applications.

• managing the applications following submission including liaison with and responses to the planning case officer.

• liaising with the client on progress with the applications.

Planning permission was granted under delegated authority within the 8 week statutory period and the Certificate was issued 11 weeks after validation of that application.
