Residential care home, Huyton (February 2026)

Acted as Planning Agent to prepare, submit and manage a planning application for the enclosure of existing external walkways between residential care home buildings. The property is located within a Conservation Area and the buildings are considered non-designated heritage assets.

Key roles included:

• working with the client’s building consultants on preparing the necessary drawings.

• producing a Planning & Heritage Statement to address planning policy and heritage issues.

• managing the planning application following submission including liaison with the planning case officer.

• liaising with the client on progress with the application.

The application was granted planning permission under delegated authority with the 8 week statutory period in February 2026.
